About Summit Philanthropy
I started this firm because I saw a gap—early-stage organizations with big visions but limited support when it comes to building sound and sustainable fundraising strategies. I’ve worked for large established nonprofits with big bold missions, but my passion is helping smaller teams lay the groundwork for long-term success. That’s where the real transformation happens.
You’ve got a great idea and you’re filling a gap where you know you can make a real difference. You have a solid business plan, and you know the type of team needed to realize measurable impact. None of that will matter if you can’t raise the funding – and sustain it – during critical early years.
Summit pays tribute to my mountainous move but also what I help my clients achieve — new heights in their fundraising and organizational impact. Whether you're crafting your first strategic plan, trying to professionalize your systems, or just figuring out how to get traction with funders, I bring the practical tools, fresh thinking, and a collaborative approach.
I don’t offer templates or one-size-fits-all advice. I tailor every engagement to the organization’s stage, capacity, and goals— because there’s never just one way to get to the summit.
If you're leading a nonprofit that’s ready to grow but not sure where to start, I’d love to help you find your footing and chart a path forward.

Consultant
After nearly two decades working in senior fundraising and strategy roles for three large policy and advocacy organizations in Washington, D.C., I made a big leap—personally and professionally. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I launched my own consulting firm, shifting my focus on small and start-up nonprofits, and moved across the country to Denver in search of a more rewarding work-life balance.
These days, my work is all about helping early-stage organizations build strong, sustainable fundraising strategies and professionalize their operations from the ground up. I love partnering with nonprofit leaders who are open to fresh ideas and ready to think differently about how to engage funders—not just as funders, but as thought-partners in their mission.
The most exciting part of my work is seeing new organizations get it right—putting systems in place, building confidence in their strategy, and ultimately thriving. No two days are alike, no two organizations are the same, and that’s what keeps my battery charged.
I bring not just experience but real enthusiasm for helping small teams reach big goals. And while I traded the East Coast grind for the serene vistas of the Mountain West, I haven’t slowed down when it comes to supporting the people and missions that inspire me every day. It’s just a better, more rewarding balance!
